Photography on the Tree Farm
Professional Photographers
We are delighted to welcome you and your clients to our farm for your photo sessions! We are honored by your interest and look forward to collaborating with you as you capture beautiful moments among our trees.
Our tree fields are available for photography session reservations for the 2024 season, starting in August and continuing through December.
Personal Photography
We welcome and encourage you and your family to take personal photographs while picking out your tree during our public seasonal hours.
As a courtesy, if you have a special occasion (such as an engagement) you are documenting, please consider communicating with us in advance. We would love to help you to make it as special as possible.
Taking professional photographs utilizing any part of our property without prior permission is strictly prohibited and will be considered trespassing.
Visiting our farm during public seasonal hours with the intent to take photographs only, is not considered personal photography and therefore prohibited.
Runyan's Photography Rules & Guidelines
Runyan’s Country Tree Farm is a working farm, and the safety of our guests and staff is our top priority. All photographers and their clients must adhere to the farm rules outlined below. The photographer is responsible for ensuring that all clients and their guests follow these rules.
Parking & Setup
- Park only in designated parking areas / follow staff instructions
- Please observe a 10mph speed limit
- Absolutely no vehicles are allowed to drive into the fields
- Please let us know if you require any parking accommodations
- Allow enough time to meet with staff and setup
Farm Specific
- A single restroom is on-site, but may not be close to your assigned area
- Be mindful of natural trip hazards (uneven ground, tree stumps, and critter holes)
- Consider your footwear and plan accordingly for ground and weather conditions
- Help us care for our trees by not climbing, bending, cutting or hanging on limbs
- Photographer is responsible for any tree damage (up to the full price of the tree)
- Leave no trace; take out what you bring in (props, clothing, trash, pet waste, etc)
- Leashed pets are always welcome at the farm
- First Aid Kit and AED are available in the gift shop (Call 911 for emergencies)
- All minors (under 18 years old) must be accompanied by a parent or guardian
- Please report any concerns you have to staff
- Smoking and the use of open flame is prohibited
- Drugs and Alcohol are strictly prohibited
- Use of the property without written consent is considered trespassing
Reservations & Scheduling
- Reservations are first come first serve for availability and field location.
- Reservations are area specific, please remain in your designated area
- The following public tree sale dates are NOT available for reservation:
- November 28, 29, 30
- December 1, 6, 7, 8, 13, 14, 15
Pricing Details
Field reservation is $25/hr, $50 for the first hour. To ensure a smooth experience, all photographers are required to complete a farm use agreement and pay a non-refundable deposit to secure their reservation.
